About Jaffna MICE Expo 2023
The inaugural JAFFNA MICE EXPO 2023 will be held from 30th November 2023 at the Jetwing Jaffna and The Thinnai Hotel in Jaffna. Located in the northern tip of the pearl of Asia. Jaffna is closer to South India than it is to our own capital. Connected to the Sri Lankan mainland by a lagoon causeway, the northern capital exhibits a dignified culture and traditional influences found nowhere else on the island. Jaffna is the hub of the Hindu culture in Sri Lanka and it is an exciting place to visit.
JAFFNA MICE EXPO 2023 will consist of a Business Forum, Opening Ceremony, B2B Meetings, Gala Dinner and Jaffna Familiarization Tour. The objective of the event is to showcase Northern part of Sri Lanka as a MICE destination to the South Indian MICE travelers The event will consist of a fully hosted buyer program open to South Indian travel professionals and media personnels.
40 MICE buyers and 05 media personnels will be hosted from South India. The fully hosted buyer package will include return air ticket from Chennai to Jaffna, three nights accommodation including all meals, access to the Business Forum, Opening Ceremony, B2B Meetings, Gala Dinner and Jaffna Familiarization Tour. The B2B session will be organized between the Hosted buyers from South India and the regional & local MICE related service providers including hotels, venue providers and other MICE operators.
The inaugural JAFFNA MICE EXPO 2023 is organized by SRI LANKA CONVENTION BUREAU under the patronage of the Ministry of Tourism & LandsÂ
